The split system consists of the following three parts:
1. Solar collector 2. Pressurized water tank 3. Working station
The pressurized geyser has one or two copper coils. (A 2nd coil would feed an additional boiler tank). Water circulates between the copper coils and the heat collector on the roof. (This is a closed pressurized system). The heat collector has vacuum tubes. These are copper heating pipes (called heap pile) inside the vacuum tubes. The vacuum tubes collect the sun's energy and tehn transfers it to the copper pipe in which cold water flows. (No water flows within the vacuum tubes). Cold water flows into the one side of the geyser, and out the other along copper pipes which pass through vacuum tubes inside the heat collector and back again into the other side of the geyser.
The tank can be combined with a gas or electric heater.
